Katie Reddin-Clancy Private Drama Tutor
In the first lockdown Katie coached a young actor for his drama scholarship to Brighton College…and he got it! He also received a distinction for his LAMDA exams with the same monologues. And so a side hustle was born!
If you’re wanting extra support for drama, particularly the GCSE and A’ level exams, Katie can help! She can also work with you to prepare Lamda, Guild Hall exams or drama school auditions.
Katie realised sixth form colleges and drama schools are asking for Zoom auditions but students have rarely been taught camera technique.
Self-tapes and Zoom auditions are a simple yet essential art. Katie is happy to impart what she’s learnt and used from recent webinars with top global casting directors and agents so your auditions will look professional.
Delighted to work on exam pieces/ auditions over Zoom to practice the techniques, iron out typical stumbling blocks, develop characters and build performer confidence.
Over the last eight years Katie’s been writing and performing one woman shows and stand-up
comedy on the international fringe circuit.

Katie Reddin-Clancy Creativity Coach
Katie has also been encouraging friends to follow their entrepreneurial passions and side hustles. This seems to have turned into a bit of a thing!
If Covid-19 has shown us one thing, it’s a huge wake up call to look at how we live our lives. Writer Annie Dillard famously said, “How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.” For many of us, a huge chunk of our day, week and year is spent at work. Apparently that’s approximately 90,000 hours over a lifetime.
It’s a long time to spend doing something you dislike, something you feel indifferent to or something you don’t believe in.
The challenge, struggle and growing pains associated with developing a new craft and career far outweighs staying safe and feeling resentment build up that we should have, could have, maybe had a crack at…
Katie uses brainstorming, mapping, goal/ intention setting and manifestation techniques that she has picked up and used herself. These seem to have really helped friends get successful businesses off the ground. Hopefully she can help yours too.

Testimonials
Katie helped my son prepare for a sixth form drama scholarship and thanks to her invaluable coaching and expertise he was awarded the scholarship. She guided him through every aspect of the process right up until the day and he felt so confident and prepared. He had never done a zoom audition before and so she made sure that every angle was covered including all the technical details. I completely trusted Katie with the process and he learnt so much from the sessions and was fully engaged. She is wonderful to work with and has a wealth of experience to draw from. Thank you so much Katie, we couldn’t have done it without you!
Katie assisted me with my Lamda exam over a series of zoom calls and introduced me to incredibly important techniques for my exam and auditions. She helped with my pieces, but also explained how to present yourself during auditions and other professional settings, which was a very important life lesson to learn. She is concise at getting an idea across with understanding and is thus naturally good at teaching. Thank you for your help during a difficult time for me.

Testimonials
Katie is an incredible support and help. I was developing a business idea but was stuck with what to call it and how to get the idea off the ground. Katie was instrumental in helping me unpack the different layers of my business, and through simple, fun and creative techniques I soon understood clearly what I wanted to say, who my audience was and the right message to put across with a fab name. Thank you Katie! You’re like gold dust.
