Katie feels really happy when helping wonderful, important causes and supporting people who want to change the world for the better.
When she started her voiceover business KRC Productions, she wanted to offer her voice over services every year to a charity or non-profit organisation that was dear to her heart.
Her main passion outside the industry is horses. Anything to do with them, but particularly protecting them, sport horse breeding, natural, intelligent horsemanship, “horse whispering” and equine massage. The disciplines that she finds exceptional sport are show jumping and eventing.
The things that upset her are: cruelty to animals, dog meat farms, live exportation and the staggering statistics of future animal extinction.
What worries her immensely is the looming climate emergency and the impact of the imminent rise of automation.

2021 Moorcroft Equine Rehabilitation Centre
Katie has offered her help to Moorcroft Equine Rehabilitation Centre to voice their online courses.
Their mission is to re-school and rehabilitate former racehorses that can then have a real chance at a second career. They also help with short-term schooling and rehabilitation for all horses – so these courses should be fascinating. Horses come to the centre in West Sussex, UK with a one-off donation to the charity and in exchange, Moorecroft gives the previous owner a commitment of care for life.
Mary has written a book so horse lovers and riders can learn how the horse’s body works under a rider, how to develop that body with the horse’s welfare as the focus plus how to be in tune with horses mentally, physically and really listening to what they have to say!

2021 KRC Productions Charity Collaboration
Katie is delighted to be working with Nature’s SAFE on a documentary to raise awareness and help change the alarming rate of animal extinction.
“More than 35,500 species are at risk of extinction. Human activity is causing the sixth mass extinction, the largest predicted loss of biodiversity in 65 million years. It is estimated that 1 million animal and plant species are at risk of extinction, with many predicted to be lost within decades. This catastrophic loss threatens the entire natural balance of our planet, and with it, the very survival of our own species. We no longer have the luxury of time – it will soon be too late to change direction. Nature’s SAFE provides a path to a more hopeful future for us all by saving animals from extinction and halting biodiversity loss.” Nature’s SAFE.
