Live Presenter and Host
Multi Award Winning Public Speaker. Katie works with Rankin, the iconic photographer, publisher and film director.
She hosted his new show, ‘RANKINLIVE INTERVIEWS at Groucho, Cannes Lions, Oxford Arts Festival and The Hospital Club. Their guests have included Jodie Whittaker, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Izuka Hoyle and Aki Omoshaybi. Part masterclass, part interview, part shoot, the show was booked for a live series. Katie and Rankin chatted all things: photography, “Setiquette”, creativity, British cinema, changing the world, idols, client/ agency relationships, mistakes, recovery, social media and being star struck…all whilst they did a shoot in front of a live audience.
Katie also interviewed Rankin for the headline set at The Future of Brands conference in London on: The Power of Creativity Driving Brand Growth. They showcased Rankin’s work and discussed why creativity should not be forgotten in a world often dominated by data and measurement. A fascinating conversation about brand’s responsibilities, the role of influencers, how diversity and inclusion should be in the DNA of companies, taking the Queen’s photo, tech addiction to the next big things in communications.
Producer
Katie is currently working on a multiplatform documentary / entertainment programme with Nature’s SAFE to raise awareness and help change the alarming rate of animal extinction.
“Human activity is causing the sixth mass extinction, the largest predicted loss of biodiversity in 65 million years. It is estimated that 1 million animal and plant species are at risk of extinction, with many predicted to be lost within decades. This threatens the entire natural balance of our planet and the survival of our own species. We no longer have the luxury of time – it will soon be too late to change direction.”
Previously, Katie co-created, pitched and produced a project to Rankin starring the first intersex filmmaker River Gallo about their short film PONYBOI (executive producers Stephen Fry and Emma Thompson) and nine intersex activists. They gained front cover and lead story of Hunger Magazine #17 (31 October 2019), an online exhibition and articles. Katie and Ela Xora created the project to celebrate intersex people born with variations in their sex characteristics as they make up nearly 2% of the population – the same amount of people naturally born twins. Intersex people are currently fighting legal invisibility, stigma, discrimination, hate crimes and sometimes non consenting genital mutilation as children.
Storyteller Inspiration
“Always go a little bit out of your depth. When you don’t feel that your feet are quite touching the bottom, you’re just about in the right place to do something exciting.” David Bowie.
Katie was born into a theatrical family, is originally Irish and was raised on a farm in Bucks. She trained at Atlantic Theater Company in New York, took risks in theatre and comedy in Melbourne then wore a variety of work hats in London. She’s now happily put down roots in the UK and set up KRC Productions for her voiceover, solo shows and writing projects.
Enamoured by her entertaining, talented grandmother’s singing and storytelling mixed with enormous pride while watching her cousins as leads in musicals on the West End stage – Katie was naturally attracted to the art of voice work and the world of performance.
Katie is a passionate advocate for the issues of: the importance of creativity especially in relation to the future rise of AI, spirituality, personal development and gender equality. She is a keen horse woman, fascinated with sport horse breeding and horse whispering!

Her natural enthusiasm helped to motivate other cast members, while her acting ability proved itself through the range of characterisations and compelling performances that added positively to the overall quality of our production.
Katie was a joy to work with. Everyone on my team was very impressed with her quality voice-over for our animated film. One Senior colleague said she “has a voice that makes you listen”, which is great. Communications with Katie were great, friendly and professional. Turnaround time on the voice over was very quick. Would highly recommend and work with again.
