Kate Middleton Show Queen is a one-woman character comedy show with five different female characters and a stand up set directed by Sarah McCusker.  KT has been working as Kate Middleton’s lookalike at parties and corporate gigs for over a year but now the opportunity of a lifetime has arrived.   The Palace have heard about her services and offered her the chance to join, “the maternity leave pool of lookalikes.”   She calls on her friends for help: Xxora, a post op. transsexual who runs KT’s father’s cabaret club, Sky her meditation guru from Essex, Scarlet a Hollywood actress and Ivy a ghost from Yorkshire.  These women have their own dramas and are not much help at all.   Will KT pass the trial shift but more importantly will she get through her debut stand up set? Kate Middleton Show Queen opened at La Boheme (winner of Best Venue), a 55 seater for Adelaide Fringe Festival 2013 and Red Bennies a 300 seater for Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2013.
